Sorry to bust in, but we both share the same goal, so why not help us both?
I am looking for information regarding my Rabat based Lugassi family, my Great-Grandparents were David (buried there) and Dede. Can anyone here help?

I am an Israeli; My Great-Grandmother, Dede (born Lugassi), was from Fez. My Great-Grandfather, David, was a fruits and vegetables shop owner in Rabat (where she moved to, but sadly she passed away and was presumably buried outside of town due to the Typhus disease). My family didn't lived in the Mellah, but outside of it, their neighbors were mostly Non-Jews (I believe christians mostly).

I'm french, i'm living at Bordeaux, it is possible that we are related, I always thought that there was my mother's family in Israel, moreover my mother would have had 2 sisters whom I did not know existed.
I carried out a DNA test on the my heritage site if you have also carried out a test or if you want to do it, this will allow us to know if we are related, I have also recorded the DNA test on my family tree DNA
