Jewish Cemetery in Casablance

I am sorry to trouble you, but I was hoping you might be able to assist me.
I will be visiting Morocco in Mid August and will have a short stay in Casablanca.

I am trying to locate my grandfathers grave.
His name is Eliahu Bassous. All I know is that he was buried in a Jewish Cemetery in Casablance in 1939. Is there more than one Jewish Cemetery? Can you tell me how I might go about locating his grave during my visit? I need to do all my research in advance as my time will be very limited.

the older is in rue krantz;

Most probably your grandfather's grave is in the rue Krantz Cemetery as Ben Msick cemetery has been bought out later, in the first fifties.

My own grandfather also died in 1939 and he is buried in rue Krantz Cemetery.

The best thing to do would to phone to Jewish Museum in Casablanca, as tita already told you.
