I have been doing a search for as much information as I can find on my family name.
I believe he name had begun as Azulay.
Then someone in history added the prefix, 'Ben' to the name...and, it became Benzuly. Or, Benazuly. Or, Bensouli.
And, through my families journeys, pogroms, fleeing from country to country the name continued to change...however, the way it is pronounced has remained relatively the same.
