I came across your website and clicked on the jewish names section. I have a brief question: have you ever come across my surname, Abbatoy? I have been trying to research the history of the name and all I have been able to learn is that it is French with a Hebrew root.

I know that I have at least one ancester with the name who was from Morocco. I'd appreciate ANY help you can provide.
