Mohamed Khelifati, dit Cheb Mami, souvent surnommé le prince du raï, est un chanteur de raï et acteur algérien, né le 11 juillet 1966 à Saïda. Son duo avec Sting pour le titre Desert Rose, en 1999, lui permettra de faire découvrir le raï partout dans le monde, comme il en avait toujours rêvé.
