The Expulsion of the Jews from Muslim Countries, 1920-1970: A History of Ongoing Cruelty and Discrimination, by Shmuel Trigano

Between 1920 and 1970, 900,000 Jews were expelled from Arab and other Muslim countries. The 1940s were a turning point in this tragedy; of those expelled, 600,000 settled in the new state of Israel, and 300,000 in France and the United States.

The United Nations . . . should not lose sight of the fact that the proposed solution might endanger a million Jews living in the Moslem countries. Partition of Palestine might create in those countries an anti-Semitism even more difficult to root out than the anti-Semitism which the Allies were trying to eradicate in Germany

Dans son offensive pour la paix au Moyen Orient, pour qui roule Obama ?

A ce jour, ce qu'on appelle "le printemps arabe" a apporté à Israël la 1ère attaque terroriste à Jérusalem en 7 ans, et la 1ère attaque significative de missiles depuis la bande de Gaza en 2 ans. Et ces évènements sont la partie la plus facile dans ce qui attend le gouvernement de Benjamin Natanyahou. Le plus difficile sera de gérer Barack Obama.
